We are delighted to present the 2021-2022 Educator’s Guide. In it you will find programs and resources offered through IKEducation, a collaborative K-12 education initiative between the Eisenhower Foundation and the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum.
Many aspects of the upcoming 2021 - 2022 school year remain unknown and in flux due to the changing COVID-19 pandemic, but IKEducation is ready to roll with whatever situation comes our way. The Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum, and Boyhood Home are governed by the National Archives and Records Administration and the federal government. This means on-site field trips are subject to their post-COVID reopening plans and restrictions. At the time of this publication (August, 2021), all the buildings on campus are closed. As schools and the National Archives make changes to safely serve students, IKEducation will similarly modify its offerings to accommodate the situation. Teachers can check the Eisenhower Library’s website for an up-to- date status of their reopening. If you would like to be contacted when on-site field trips are allowed, please visit our Field Trip page and select Wait List.
However, during this time of closure, IKEducation hopes to take our programs into classrooms virtually through IKE Online or physically through IKE Express.
