Arthur I. Evans was born in Neosho, Kansas and had at least 5 sisters and 2 brothers. He joined the Army in October 1942 and was assigned number 19140791. He was a Corporal in the Army Air Corps. After the war he lived in Kern County, California for 21 years until his death in 1975. He owned Art Evans Welding Service. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie 93 and Owners and Operators Association. He was married to Leona and they had two children and at least two grandchildren.
